Hello

At the core of my career is a dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for friends, family, and clients. My journey has taken me from developing the Roost Farm Bakery & Winery on Vancouver Island  into a beloved community cornerstone to managing unique, experience-rich ocean side vacation rentals. This path has been driven by a genuine desire to connect and create meaningful moments. As a yacht broker, I bring this same personalized touch, ensuring that each client's vision is at the forefront of our collaboration. My goal is to combine my knowledge and experience with a natural flair for hospitality. This way, every boating adventure becomes more than a mere transaction – it transforms into an opportunity to forge lasting memories and treasured experiences on the water.

My Story

Growing up outside of Edmonton, my boating was limited to ski boats and river kayaks but once i arrived on the West Coast my ambitions of a "Live a Board" lifestyle increased. I bought my first boat in 2001, a 1972 32 foot Discovery sloop, that I lived on while I ran the Brentwood Bay Marina. Amazing experience with some incredible mentors at the marina. Loved the boat culture and met some incredible people while learning about boating.

Since then we have had some different smaller boats, and before COVID we took on a beast.  A 42 foot 1969 wooden Grand Banks. An intimidating project but an incredible learning experience. I found the perfect mentor from an online ad i put up that turned into a lifelong friend. Brian and I went through every system on that boat and then started over again. We sold it a few years back and I am still in touch with the owner after that.

Now we have a 2002 Silverton 390 (we charter it out on our dock when we dont have the time to go out), a Sea Ray Sundancer 240 and an older 25 foot C&C sailboat for those windy days. More recently we have been learning on an older Hobie 16 and when it really blows in Brentwood Bay, you can find me being towed back in by wife as I try to learn to wing foil.
